September 17

School is long, and it can be frustrating too.
During recess, there's some kids who play four-square. They're 6th graders, 7th graders, and the occasional 8th grader. So, the ball got to the top of the roof, and the principal blamed the whole 6th grade class for it as if the other classes had nothing to do with it at all. We can't play ball for TWO weeks.
The kid who threw it up there was laughing about it behind her back the whole time.
I hate middle school.

Cinder #1

I GOT A PET
I GOT A PET
I GOT A PET
I GOT A PET
I GOT A PET

I did it. After YEARS of waiting, I have gotten myself a pet! It's called a bearded dragon, or a Pogona. I will usually call them Beardies :P

My dragon is named Cinder. She's probably a few months old, and a little longer than my middle finger. We got a 40 gallon tank, that way we never have to replace it! She has a little tree to crawl under and perch on, baby bites, water, and crickets! We will feed her some red pepper later today.

Cinder was really scared on her way home. They put her in a little cardboard container with a clear top. She was scratching at it like crazy, but she soon dozed off.

When we got back from Petsmart, we took her out of her container and stroked her to calm her down. We then let her explore her habitat. She's a curious little lizard, but she was tired and just basked in the sun.

She is so docile and nice.
Please say a prayer for the baby Beardie!

September 3rd

The first week of school is the worst.
All the teachers are pretty much still on vacation. All they do is go over rules you've heard for the last 7 years again. They complain about the dress code, and give you random work.
Unless you want to hear about a crazy (but awesome) Science teacher, stop now.
We have a temporary Science teacher, named Mr. Vernola. He'll be teaching us until out old teacher comes back from her maternity leave.
One thing about Mr. Vernola is that he's crazy about safety. He's freaked out because when he was cleaning out the science classroom, he found an open bottle of Acid. He sent us home with 3 forms that we had to sign saying that we wouldn't eat, drink, or misuse chemicals and other stuff. I'm hoping he'll get to some real learning soon.
Besides the Safety stuff, the thing I love about Mr. Vernola is that he's a POKEMON PROFFESOR. That means that he gets to go to all the tournaments in an awesome outfit and judge the National Championships.

I got plenty of homework, though. I have to write an ungraded essay about a kid named Charles. This was assigned by my homeroom teacher, Mrs. Shannahan. I finished it in class, but the reason this ticks me off is because we were supposed to have the 7TH grade teacher for reading. His name is Mr. Choi, and he does super cool stuff like Kidblog. It's like educational blogger. Mrs. Shannahan is a MATH teacher, so she's winging it this year.
Not again.
Wish me luck in Middle School.
